soho

(American Apparel dress, Target socks, F21 oxfords, Vintage jacket, Vintage bag, Ksubi glasses, YSL lapis ring)

An easy look for a nice weather day. Simple and to the point. The dress leaves very little to the imagination, but pairing it with an over sized vintage jacket made it seem a little more day appropriate. Same with the thigh high sock and men's style oxfords. I spent the day running around with my bestie D (as in Doreen) shopping for vintage clothes, jewels and her costume... i tried to convince her to be the Nurse to my costume, but she ended up going with Amy Winehouse, wah wah wah...What is your costume this year? I cant wait to post mine...

monochromatic

(American Apparel shirt, F21 skirt, H&m booties, Vintage Louis Vuitton bag, Antique Bracelets and Rings)Photos:J

Dim sum and legit bubble tea in China town, I couldn't actually be happier. I love that not only is my outfit monochromatic but the photos are as well. Double the grey (which currently is my new favorite color, seems to suit my mood). For the first time ever I bought my Halloween costume before Halloween which left me enough time to take it apart and re-sow, alter the entire thing. CAN'T WAIT to wear it and post the pics. This one is actually too good. ANY guesses???

Tucker

(Tucker for target dress, Mom's Peruvian Sweater from the 70's, F21 butterfly necklace, United Nude booties (gifted), Virgin Mary Watch, Ksubi sunnies, Antique bracelets)

Tucker collaborated with Target to design a line for the GO international line. Luckily for me my mom who lives in suburbia, went in snatched up pretty much the entire line the day of release and sent it all to me....I love the fun, vibrant prints and colors. They are almost whimsical. Pairing yet another butterfly dress with my mothers huge, vintage, funky sweater, and open toed black booties added just the contrast I needed not to feel so juvenile and girlie. But of course I had to wear my butterfly necklace, something about over doing, over killing the butterfly theme seems enticing and inevitable to me. One of my best friends and fashion maven partner in crime is coming in from Canada tomorrow, so I have been planning an abundance of crazy sh*t to wear. I hope everyone has an incredible weekend. Make sure to check in Monday to see what went down over the weekend....

Au Natural

(H&M dress on sale, Vintage Sweater, Target socks, Ralph Lauren boots, Rings from Left to right: Shark Noir (gifted), Antique Diamond Cocktail, Made her think Talon Knuckle Buster (gifted)Nail polish essie:solemate)Photos:Chloe S.

I bought this dress at H&M on sale...who knew the sh*t there got even cheaper?? But the feminine pleated texture, the petal like tiered layers and the somehow perfect shade of taupe make this dress perfectly effortless to layer, play with, dress up, or down (as I choose to do). The key is adding fun little elements like lilac thigh high socks, cognac riding boots and a very sloppy over sized sweater that would not stay on no matter how much effort was exerted. For any new readers I should let you know that stacks and stack of jewelry are very standard for me. However these rings are very special each in their own way. On the right is the "talon knuckle buster ring" gifted to me by Made her think. Saw a girl wearing it and after minimal googling, a simple email, Here it is ON ME...since receiving it about a week ago, I haven't left home without it!!(available at Bergdorf)I'd also like to note that this is my hair Au natural!!! This is what happens when I shower, with NO time, NO product, NO blow dryer...

Thanks Kristy at Made her think for the ring ;)

I

(H&M rosebud jacket w DIY broaches, Vintage DIY cut up BF tee, Vintage Children's Trousers, Ksubi Sunnies, F21 oxfords)Photos:Brandon

Here is my Day one look from my "III" video shoots. This is the second time Ive posted about this jacket which still makes my heart patter a little faster every time I put it on. I added 2 vintage Broaches to the right shoulder just to give it a bit more flare, because obviously a puffy sleeved, bright red rosebud jacket lacks flare??? Worn with my "fall obsession" little kid trousers, they just seem to fit my frame perfectly, hitting my waist at the exact spot they are supposed to. Again with those DAMN Ksubi glasses. I KNOW I KNOW...I'm slightly obsessed with them, but many glasses have tried to compete and few have succeeded. LISTEN UP if anyone knows anyone at Karen Walker I will lovingly trade you some serious eye ware posts for any and all the sunnies you'd like to to gift me. Shameless self promotion, a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.

8:00 am

(H&M bomber jacket, Vintage Beaded dress, Jeffrey Campbell "litas", F21 cross, Necessary clothing studded cuff, Seth and Dashiel Designs gold bracelets, F21 cocktail, Vintage Louis Vuitton bag)Photos: Quoc
These photos were taken at 8 am, yes 8 am and NO this is NOT the walk of shame. I actually woke up, showered, got ready for the day and put on this outfit specifically for my shoot with Quoc. I love the contrast: the androgynous feel of the faux leather bomber with the femininity of my vintage beaded pale pink dress. I kept the accessories to a minimum, at least by my standards...Just one huge cocktail ring that was a mere 3.80 at F21 and a 3 row studded cuff from necessary clothing. My litas are one of my serious obsessions right now, they make me feel about 10 feet tall, and they are remarkably comfortable! On the unfortunate side I don't think men find them seductive, but hey F*ck em, I DRESS FOR ME!!!!! I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. Its finally cold in New York, let the layering begin...
